FALL ENROLLMENT UPDATE as of July 20, 2020

On July 18, 2020 CVUSD has posted an update for the upcoming school year to start with virtual learning for the time being and transition to in-person instruction (hybrid plan) until safe to do so as well as an alternative to stay full year virtual learning. Therefore, Bee Best Learning Center will adjust our hours and after school program to better serve families.

Since the situation is constantly changing, we want to share with you our tentative plan as follow. Starting in August 17, 2020 we will begin offering Full Day (7:30am – 5:30pm) and Half Day (AM 7:30am – 12:30pm and PM 1:00pm – 6:00pm) programs Monday through Friday. In the morning, students can do their virtual learning with our staff assistance. While in the afternoon, our teaching staff will assist on their additional schoolwork, homework help, Mandarin Chinese, as well as additional Math and English practice to help students improve their academic skills.

In order for us to be able to practice social distancing and comply with the public health guidelines, we have to reduce our capacity. Current guidelines recommend 12 people per social group – meaning students will be assigned to a stable group of 10 or fewer children with up to 2 staff for the duration of the 3-week program. Family members living in the same household will be in the same group.

Therefore, all after school program 2020-2021 registration received by us prior to July 18, 2020 will be CANCELLED.

TENTATIVE TIMELINE (subject to change)

• July 27-29  PRIORITY registration opens for those who previously enrolled to our after school program prior to July 17, 2020 and have paid $100 deposit. A private link for priority registration will be send via email.
• August 1  An email instruction on how to request a REFUND will be sent for those who previously enrolled to our after school program prior to July 17, 2020, have paid $100 deposit and request to withdraw from our program.
• August 3-5  Registration opens to ALL students.
• August 15 Virtual orientation for all parents/guardians at 10:30am-11:30am. Topics include understanding our updated policies, procedures and guidelines for COVID-19 and Q&A session.
