September Tuition & Transportation Fee Slip 
September tuition and transportation fees cover September 1-26, 2025, and are due September 10th. To access the slip, click here  
or on our website at the “Parent Access” tab with the password “fall2025”

Chinese Material Fee 

• A $50 yearly material fee will be added to Cycle 2 tuition for students enrolled in Chinese class. 
• This fee will not be refunded after September 1st. 
• If you wish to withdraw from the Chinese class, please notify us (by email to info@beebestlearning.com) no later than September 1st. 

Monday, September 1: Labor Day 
On Monday, September 1st, all public schools in Castro Valley are closed for the Labor Day holiday. Bee Best Learning Center will also be CLOSED. 

Tuesday, September 23, Wednesday, September 24, and Thursday, September 25: Minimum Days for TK/K-5th Grades 
We will inform our drivers of the revised time for pick-up. If your child does not need to be picked up, please call your driver. If your child arrives at Bee Best during lunchtime, please pack a bag of lunch. 

Friday, September 26: Student Advisement Conference (TK/K-5th Grades) 
On Friday, September 26th, all elementary public schools in Castro Valley are closed for Student Advisement Conference. Bee Best will be open on a special schedule from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm and all students must sign up if they plan to attend that day so we can accommodate proper staffing. We will NOT accept any drop-ins. If you would like to purchase lunch ($8.00) for your child per day, the menu will be pizza (cheese & pepperoni) with fruit and milk on Friday. 

Note that 5-day program: no extra fee since Friday is included, however if 4-day program students want to attend this day then the fee is $90 per day.

Get your Prepaid Meal Plan 
Starting September 8th we will begin offering optional hot snacks. All lunch and hot snack orders must be paid for using the prepaid meal plan. You can purchase the prepaid meal plan ahead of time before ordering the meal in Google Forms. The prepaid meal plan is sold for $20, $40 or $60. The meal cost is $5.00 per hot snack and $8.00 per lunch.  

Once the meal order is finalized by the deadline, no cancellations or carryovers will be allowed. You can choose between receiving a refund for the remaining balance of your prepaid meal order or carrying it forward for the next school year.

Inform our Drivers 
Out of courtesy, please remember to call or message both your child’s driver and Ms. Jing on EACH day your child does not need to be picked up AND submit the absence notification form using the Bee Best App. This reduces any concern and does not cause unnecessary delays for the driver and other students. Also, please remember that the driver pickup fee is fixed for the month (based on the number of school days in session) since the driver must reserve that seat for your child even during your family vacations and sick days. 

Extracurriculars Drop Off  Transportation Request 
Starting Monday, September 15th and forward; Bee Best Learning Center offers limited space (6 seats) per 30-minute time slot for a free extracurricular drop-off daily from Monday through Friday after 4:30pm to 6:00pm to Castro Valley locations within a mile radius from our center. Please sign up and submit Extracurricular Drop Off Transportation Request Form to info@beebestlearning.com or drop at our front desk.
NOTE: If your desired location is not on this list, please speak with Director Jing before submitting the request form. Deadline is Monday, September 15th. 

NOTE: Once you have signed up for extracurriculars drop off, we will assume that you will continue until the school year ends. Please let us know if you want to pull out from the drop off list. 

Homework  
Homework has the highest priority during homework time. We expect all the students to do their homework by themselves. If students do not understand any part of their homework, we encourage them to ask the teaching assistant or teacher in the room. We are here to answer their questions! Once homework is completed, students will spend the remaining homework time working on BBLC’s supplemental Math and English papers. If parents would prefer that their child read or complete other parent assigned work (like piano theory or Kumon) instead of doing supplemental work, then please communicate this to the staff. The staff will review your child’s homework for completeness. We will also select some random problems to review for accuracy, but due to time constraints we cannot review every problem or page. We appreciate comments and help from all parents. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s homework, please contact us via email info@beebestlearning.com so we can work together to help your child develop the good habit of completing their homework each day. 

Workshops 
We offer a variety of fun and educational workshops starting from September 8 -December 12, 2025, for additional fees, click here for the workshop information details. Workshop registration is NOW open. Signups are limited, and students are only enrolled once we receive BOTH the completed registration form AND accompanying payment. Parent Teacher Conference via Zoom (Optional)
We will send a follow-up email invite for you to make a one-on-one Zoom parent teacher conference with your child’s room teacher starting in October. The tentative schedule is every day from Monday through Friday from 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm for every 15 minutes increment. 

Referral Discount 
To extend our appreciation to currently enrolled families, we offer a referral discount when you refer another student to our center. After the new student’s enrollment is confirmed and they have attended Bee Best for one month of our after-school program OR two weeks of our summer program, you will receive a $50 discount on your child’s tuition. This discount is applied one time for each newly registered student that mentions your name. Please also inform Director Jing of any student you refer.
