IMPORTANT UPDATE: Discontinuation of Snack & Lunch Program
Effective August 1, 2026, Bee Best Learning Center will NO longer provide daily snacks, offer optional hot snacks, or the prepaid lunch program.
During our Summer Camp 2026, the Alameda County Environmental Health Department visited our center after receiving a complaint alleging that Bee Best was providing snacks and lunch without the required health permit. During the inspection, we were informed that providing individually wrapped snacks, hot snacks, and catered lunches requires a special health permit. After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue ALL food programs rather than pursue the additional permitting requirements. This change will also help us minimize on-site food storage while maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our students.
Beginning August 1, please send your child with:
- A filled, labeled water bottle.
- A morning and/or afternoon snack from home, clearly labeled with your child’s full name. Students may not share food.
- A labeled bag lunch if your child will be at Bee Best during lunch hours, including minimum days and school breaks.
Reminder: Bee Best Learning Center is a peanut-free and tree-nut-free facility. Please do not pack any foods containing peanuts or tree nuts.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support as we remain committed to providing a safe, healthy, and fully compliant environment for all students.
