Monday, November 24 through Wednesday, November 26: Thanksgiving Week
During the Thanksgiving week school holidays (November 24-26, 2025), all public schools in Castro Valley are closed. Bee Best Learning Center will be open from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm. All students must sign up via Google Form if they plan to attend, and registration has closed. Our schedule for this week includes fun enrichment activities, crafts, sports, games, and more. We will NOT accept any drop-ins, and there will be no extracurricular drop-off service during this week. Please plan accordingly.
Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28: Thanksgiving break
Bee Best Learning Center will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, for Thanksgiving break.

Prepaid Meal Plan and December Hot Snack Order (Optional)
All lunch and hot snack orders must be paid for using the prepaid meal plan. You can purchase the prepaid meal plan ahead of time before ordering the meal in Google Forms. The prepaid meal plan is sold for $20, $40, or $60. The meal cost is $5.00 per hot snack and $8.00 per lunch.
Once the meal order is finalized by the deadline, no cancellations or carryovers will be allowed. You can choose between receiving a refund for the remaining balance of your prepaid meal order or carrying it forward for the next school year.

Winter 2026 Workshops Registration Opens Now
We offer a variety of fun and educational workshops starting from January 20-April 27, 2025, for additional fees. Winter 2026 Workshop registration is open now. Signups are limited, and students are only enrolled once we receive BOTH the completed registration form AND accompanying payment.

Thursday, 12/18, and Friday, 12/19: Minimum Days for Grade 6-8 (Middle School)
Grades 6-8 (middle schools) will be having district-wide minimum days on Thursday, 12/18, and Friday, 12/19. We will inform our drivers of the revised time for pickup. If your child does not need to be picked up, please call your driver. If your child arrives at Bee Best during lunchtime, please pack a bag of lunch.
Below is the early release schedule for those days:

Winter Holiday Party during the week of 12/15
We are celebrating the holidays at Bee Best; every classroom will host a modest holiday celebration during the final week of school before the winter break. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
Monday, 12/22, Tuesday, 12/23, Friday, 12/26, Monday, 12/29, Tuesday, 12/30, 2025, and Friday, 01/02, 2026: Winter Break Camp
All local public schools will be closed for Winter Break holidays from Monday, December 22, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026. Bee Best Learning Center will be open daily from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm from Monday, 12/22, Tuesday, 12/23, Friday, 12/26, Monday, 12/29, Tuesday, 12/30, and Friday, 01/02, 2026. The tuition fee is $90.00 per day. If there are fewer than 20 students enrolling for the day, we will cancel that day’s camp. Since the Winter break camp is not included in our after-school tuition, we will invoice the Winter break camp tuition together with the January tuition, which is due on January 10, 2026.
For us to maintain a proper staff-to-student ratio and to order enough activity materials, all current students must sign up via Google form if he/she plans to attend our Winter break camp. We will NOT accept any drop-in. Any changes or cancellations made after signing up in the Google form must be specified in writing via email to info@beebestlearning.com before December 12, 2025. Otherwise, a $20 fee per child per day will be applied for No Shows and Changes/Cancellations received after 6:30 pm on Friday, December 12, 2025.
If your child wishes to pre-order lunch ($8.00 per day), please purchase the prepaid meal plan ahead of time. The menu will be:
- Monday, 12/22: Chicken sandwich with fries, fruit, and milk
- Tuesday, 12/23: Sesame chicken with rice, fruit, and milk
- Friday, 12/26: Cheese pizza, fruit, and milk
- Monday, 12/29: Hamburger with fries, fruit, and milk
- Tuesday, 12/30: Chow mein with vegetables, fruit, and milk
- Friday, 01/02: Pepperoni pizza, fruit, and milk
Note: No workshops and no Extracurricular drop off are held during this Winter break week.

Monday, January 5, 2026: No School (Certificated Workday) for Middle Schools Grades 6-8
On Monday, January 5, all middle schools (grades 6-8) in Castro Valley are closed for the Certificated Workday holiday. Bee Best Learning Center will be open from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm; all middle school students must sign up via Google form if he/she plan to attend that day. We will NOT accept any drop-ins. Please plan accordingly.
If you would like to purchase lunch ($8.00) for your child for this day, the menu will be cheese pizza with fruit and milk. Students can bring the extra cash for mini golf or bowling, and an Itea drink.

Lost and Found Items
Kindly inspect the lost and found items at Bee Best to see if any of them belong to your child. All lost and found items will be donated after Friday, December 20th, at the end of the school day.
